From the Editorial Staff:
As USIDFVETS begins its sixth year I would like to welcome every visitor and new member to our site. Events not only in the Middle East, but also around the world have inspired us to create this site. Never before has there been a greater need to feel connected to a community. We are hoping that this site will assist people to locate old acquaintances, to converse in constructive dialogue, and to motivate the community of U.S. and other IDF vets and their families to get a bit closer to each other, and the State of Israel. Out of necessity this site was created. If nothing else, to satisfy its founder that there are people like himself out there wanting to find other IDF Vets, and share in each others experiences. ( no matter where they live)

Above all, the common goal of us at this site, maybe above the connection theme is to strive for Peace in Israel. With a strong diplomatic stance, a strong military, and a strong stand against terrorism this can be achieved. All of us at USIDFVETS.com understand this concept. So whether you live in Tel Aviv, or New York, whether you were in the Nachal or the Golani, or whether you are a mother of an IDF vet or a brother, become a member. Looking forward to hearing from all of you.
